This role supports the mission to Share Christ – Love People by providing safety and security for staff, business visitors, and the general public while on the property of Joyce Meyer Ministries.

Responsibilities:
- Observe property activities via the camera system and document properly in daily log
- Greet employees and visitors as they arrive on Joyce Meyer Ministries’ property
- Ensure safety of the staff and visitors of Joyce Meyer Ministries by monitoring on site activities to protect against safety threats
- Conduct patrols, building checks, investigations, crowd management, loss prevention duties, and first responder alerts
- Create and maintain security files and reports pertaining to contractor/business guest activity, deliveries, and all other visitor activity
- Notify the control room and front desk when visitors arrive and direct visitor to appropriate location
- Monitor and respond to alarms
Qualifications:
- 2 years job related experience
- Certification with Firearm, Tazer®, Oleoresin Capsicum Pepper Spray and all security equipment
- Possess a valid Driver’s license and be on call 24/7
- Computer skills in a Microsoft Window environment; including skills in Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel
- Good interpersonal skills to handle and deal with sensitive and confidential situations
- Ability to react quickly and responsibly under pressure
- Availability to maintain a flexible work schedule and report to work during inclement weather
Education:
- High School diploma or GED
- Obtain a Security Officer license and First Aid, CPR and AED Certification
