Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal across multiple areas such as offices, restrooms, hallways, and common spaces.
- Use janitorial equipment and cleaning supplies efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed thoroughly within scheduled timeframes to prepare facilities for the next business day or early morning operations.
- Maintain cleanliness of industrial or commercial spaces by performing specialized custodial tasks such as window washing or carpet cleaning when needed.
- Assist with basic facilities maintenance tasks including light repairs or reporting issues related to plumbing, electrical systems, or equipment malfunctions.
- Follow health and safety guidelines diligently to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment for everyone.
Experience
- Prior janitorial or custodial experience is highly preferred; experience with commercial cleaning or industrial cleaning is a plus. We will train the right person.
- Experience in facilities maintenance or porter roles demonstrates your versatility in handling various cleaning and upkeep tasks.
- Knowledge of cleaning products, equipment operation, and safety procedures ensures efficient and safe work practices.
