Concord Hospital Day Porter

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Day Porter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for both employees and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning and maintenance tasks, with an emphasis on high standards of hygiene and appearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
• Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, break rooms, and common areas.
• Assist with floor care activities such as buffing, waxing, and stripping as needed.
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards.
• Handle janitorial duties in both commercial and residential settings as required.
• Support custodial staff with industrial cleaning tasks during peak periods.
• Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and report any shortages to management.
• Collaborate with the facilities maintenance team to address any repair or maintenance issues promptly.

Requirements

• Previous janitorial or custodial experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with commercial cleaning practices and equipment is a plus.
• Experience in floor care techniques including buffing and waxing is desirable.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
