Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, for a Client Service Advisor at Joy Wealth Management - Northwestern Mutual. In this role, you will provide exceptional service to clients, foster strong relationships, and deliver personalized support that ensures client satisfaction. Day-to-day responsibilities will include resolving client inquiries, streamlining communication between clients and internal teams, and supporting the delivery of tailored financial solutions. You will collaborate closely with our financial advisors and planning team to ensure excellent client experiences by addressing needs and providing timely, accurate information.
Role Responsibilities
- Develop and manage new business and expand relationships with existing clients.
- Utilize our financial planning software to partner with our planning team and deliver comprehensive financial planning, investment management, and risk protection solutions.
- Lead meetings, present personalized recommendations, and guide clients through onboarding and ongoing reviews.
- Deliver exceptional client service with timely communication and annual portfolio reviews.
- Collaborate on strategy, research, and practice development to support team goals.
- Maintain compliant and accurate client records in CRM; stay current with industry regulations.
- Elicit referrals from existing clients
- Ability to embrace change and work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Able to work both independently and as a part of a team
Qualifications
- Strong Interpersonal Skills and the ability to build and maintain positive client relationships
- Exceptional Communication skills to convey information clearly and effectively to varied audiences
- Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office, with a willingness to learn new tools
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field is required
- 3 years of experience in financial services or a related industry is recommended
- Securities Registered: SIE, Series 6 and 63 are required, Series 7 is recommended or willingness to obtain within first 6 months of employment
- Life & Health Insurance License required
