Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of high-quality non-alcoholic beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, ensuring consistency and presentation standards are met.
• Engage with customers warmly, taking orders accurately and providing friendly, efficient service to enhance their experience.
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions smoothly and accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, equipment, and dining spaces by following food safety and sanitation protocols.
• Handle cash transactions responsibly, processing payments efficiently while giving correct change and balancing registers at shift end.
• Assist in food handling and basic food preparation tasks to support café operations.
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining quality standards.

Requirements

• Previous barista experience or food service background is preferred; familiarity with café operations is a plus.
• Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for sales processing.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with diverse guests.
• Knowledge of food safety practices, beverage preparation techniques, and proper food handling procedures.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, processing transactions, and balancing registers accurately.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, move quickly in a fast-paced environment, and multitask efficiently.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours while maintaining quality service standards.
