Afternoon Nanny for 11YO w/ Autism - Starting $18/hr

Compensation: $18.00/hr with eligibility for raises in the future!

We’re a warm, easygoing family in Scottsdale, and we’re looking for a patient, reliable nanny to support our two kids after school. Our 11‑year‑old son is autistic and mostly non‑verbal — he thrives with calm routines and gentle support. Our 13‑year‑old daughter is independent and needs minimal supervision.

We’re hoping to hire as soon as possible and are interviewing this week.

Schedule

Mon–Thurs, 2:30 PM–6:00 PM

Consistent, predictable hours each week

What You’ll Help With

• School pickup
• Calm, supportive supervision
• Simple routines (snack, downtime, transitions)
• Low‑demand activities (drawing, reading, outdoor time)
• Light tidying of kid areas
• Minimal driving beyond pickup
• No therapy work or specialized interventions
  
  

We’ll walk you through everything — no specialized autism training required.

Who We’re Looking For

• Someone patient, steady, and reliable
• Experience with kids (nannying, babysitting, daycare, church nursery, etc.)
• Comfortable supporting neurodivergent children or open to learning
• Good communicator who shows up on time
• All applicants must first interview with a Jovie specialist. Qualifying applicants will meet the family prior to being hired.
