Jovian Concepts, LLC is looking to hire a System Engineer Level 3 for a great opportunity in the Annapolis Junction area.
A current and active TS/SCI Clearance with a MD Polygraph required. No CCA's will be accepted at this time.
Seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to lead the analysis of user requirements, CONOPS, and system architectures to design and deliver scalable solutions across Linux server environments, containerized platforms, and NexGen architectures. The ideal candidate will leverage GOTS products and Apache NiFi to support modern, data-driven mission capabilities.
This role provides technical leadership in requirements development, system design, and integration of distributed technologies. The candidate will develop system architecture documentation, support integration and testing efforts, and collaborate with government stakeholders to resolve technical challenges. The Senior Systems Engineer will ensure the integrity of engineering deliverables while working closely with cross-functional teams and program leadership

Key Responsibilities:
- Developand allocate system and functional requirements across hardware, Linuxservers, containerized platforms, and NiFi data flows, ensuringtraceability and completeness
- Design andevaluate NexGen system architectures leveraging GOTS products, containertechnologies, and enterprise server environments
- Derive and managedetailed requirements, ensuring they are verifiable, unambiguous, andaligned with mission and stakeholder needs
- Establish andmaintain configuration and change management processes, includingparticipation in CCBs and design reviews
- Lead developmentand review of system engineering documentation, ensuring alignment withLinux, container, and distributed system architectures
- Support systemintegration, verification, and validation efforts across server-based andcontainerized environments, including security requirements implementation
- Provide technicalleadership and coordination across Integrated Product Teams, ensuringdelivery of scalable, secure, and operationally effective solutions

Required Qualifications:
- Twenty(20) years of Systems Engineering experience in programs of similar scope,including experience with Linux server environments, containertechnologies, GOTS product integration, and data flow tools such as ApacheNiFi
- Bachelor's degreein Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, EngineeringScience, Engineering Management, or related discipline. Five (5) years of additional Systems Engineering experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree
- Demonstratedexperience leading system engineering efforts in modernized (NexGen)architectures
