What You Will Be Doing
- Experience in using various card processing and management software used daily to service members and staff (Fisev Card Console, Card Wizard, Visa Online, etc.) and should be well versed with applicable system generated reports within all systems.
- Help prepare and process Visa Disputes claims for ATM, and Visa Debit Cards in accordance to department and Visa guidelines via the appropriate system software. Report all suspicious claims immediately to the Card Operations Manager or higher.
- Responsible for assisting the team with password resets for frontline employees on various card systems used daily.
- Download and process applicable daily online reports and adjust the appropriate general ledger account and member account.
- Help to schedule and follow up on Instant Issue [Card Wizard] equipment problems.
- Assist with backing up the Card Operations manager in managing and monitoring plastic inventory held inhouse for instant issue, as well as stock held at Third-Party vendor for natural issue and reissues.
- Fulfill branch requests for blank cardstock needed for instant issue, including topping foil for the embossers.
- When applicable, assist with the setting up of new credit card applications approved by Loan Officers on the appropriate card processing system(s).
- Field member phone calls according to the Credit Union’s phone etiquette standards as well as supporting staff members throughout the Credit Union with Visa Credit Card issues.
- Field and service members’ written and verbal inquiries concerning their VISA Credit and Debit Cards.
- Research and answer members' routed correspondence. Trouble-shoot members' problems and inquiries.
- Process account adjustments and transactions (monetary and non-monetary) as needed on applicable system(s).
- Review and process daily lost/stolen cards reports and order replacement cards when necessary.
- Monitor credit card overpayment report and make adjustment as necessary
- Help monitoring large credit card payment report for unusual pattern and notify manager when necessary.
- Process Visa payments to Card accounts coded for unusual situation using the appropriate general ledger.
- Maintain name and address changes through applicable software with use of daily reports from Data Processing.
- Attend at least the required number of training sessions.
- Perform other duties, in addition to normal responsibilities, to help the overall workflow of the department and other departments, as assigned by the team leader or direct report.
- Two years of undergraduate education towards a bachelor’s degree in finance or related field.
- Dispute claim knowledge preferred.
- Professional and courteous telephone demeanor.
- Computer literate, proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strong analytical, written/verbal communication, interpersonal, and relationship building skills.
- Willingness to learn, grow.
- Possess a "can-do" attitude and impart a team player mentality.
- Ability to perform multiple tasks in a timely manner with a high degree of accuracy.
- Internet speed of 100 mbps or higher required (you can test this by going to www.speedtest.net).
- Able to dedicate a quiet space for daily work that is free of sound interruptions.
- All equipment will be provided by Jovia (Computer, Monitor, Headset)
