JOB SUMMARY

As a Sales Supervisor, you will assist in the daily operations of the store, help develop and motivate team members, and strive to achieve both personal and store sales goals while upholding Journeys' standards of performance.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Exceed personal and store sales targets consistently.
  • Support in training and developing a high-performing sales team.
  • Provide constructive feedback, coaching, and uphold company policies.
  • Execute opening and closing procedures effectively.
  • Oversee daily store operations in the absence of store management.
  • Manage Loss Prevention practices as needed.
  • Communicate store needs and updates to management.
  • Complete bank deposits and other administrative tasks promptly.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, resolving issues as they arise.
  • Embark on your role with a deep understanding of and commitment to the Journeys culture.
  • JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Prior retail sales experience is preferred.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while multitasking.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Drive to succeed in a dynamic retail landscape.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt.
  • Completion of training programs relevant to the Sales Supervisor role.
  • Availability to work evenings and weekends.
  • Physical ability to climb, reach, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Capability to stand for extended periods.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
