Role Description
This is a full-time, on site, role for a Prepress Operator, based in Newburyport, MA. The Prepress Operator will be responsible for preparing print files, performing pre-flight checks, proofing, and ensuring the highest quality output. The operator will also manage file corrections, adjustments, and troubleshooting issues related to print jobs. Close collaboration with the production team to guarantee timely project completion will be required.
Qualifications
- Experience with prepress software, including Adobe Creative Suite and other industry-standard software
- Knowledge of print production processes, including offset and digital printing
- Attention to detail and strong proofreading skills
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to print files
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects
- Experience with variable data printing and mailing services is a plus
- Familiarity with packaging and die-cutting processes is a plus
Pay - $35-$40 per/hr
