Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization in various environments, ensuring that spaces are welcoming and hygienic. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors, laundry and turning over homes after guests stay with us.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, kitchens, and other common areas.
- Dispose of trash and recyclables in accordance with company policies.
- Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment in good working condition.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor.
- Follow established cleaning protocols to ensure compliance with health and safety standards
- Assist with special cleaning projects as needed
- Deep clean of all spaces once in the spring and once in the fall
- Reports to Facilities Director & Staff Manager
- Will be responsible to inventory supplies
- Assist with event support as directed by supervisor
- Assist with food service during events
- Assist with light outdoor projects seasonally
- Must be available to work some nights and weekends for events
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a cleaning or janitorial role is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Good physical stamina; must be able to lift up to 25-50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently.
- A positive attitude and a commitment to providing excellent service.
In accordance with the Michigan Earned Sick Time Act (ESTA), employees accrue paid sick time at the state-mandated rate, with a minimum of 1 hour of paid sick leave earned for every 30 hours worked. Accrued time may be used for qualifying health, safety, and family-related needs as defined by law.
