Program Manager – Seattle Metro
Journey to STEAM is expanding into the Seattle Metro area, and we’re hiring a full-time Program Manager to launch and build this region from the ground up. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys creating new partnerships, building systems, and driving program growth in a new market. This is a builder role with high ownership, autonomy, and responsibility
Key Responsibilities- Build partnerships with schools, districts, Parks & Recreation, and community organizations
- Lead outreach, relationship development, and new program acquisition
- Create seasonal program schedules and manage all operations
- Recruit, hire, train, and support a team of part-time instructors
- Ensure excellent program quality and partner satisfaction
- Track weekly KPIs, enrollment, and regional performance
- Teach programs as needed during launch and peak seasons
- Be available for evening programs and occasional weekend events
- Several years of experience leading K–5 or K–8 enrichment, after-school, or education programs
- Experience working professionally with elementary-aged students
- Experience managing or supervising part-time instructors, teachers, or staff
- Background in partnership building with schools or youth-serving organizations
- Proven history of meeting KPIs, enrollment goals, revenue targets, or similar performance metrics
- Ability to operate independently and build processes in a new market
- Reliable transportation for travel across the Seattle Metro area
- Base Salary: $75,000–$85,000 (DOE)
- Performance-based commission tied to regional growth
- Insurance stipend: $400/month
