Join our team and lead hands-on after-school LEGO engineering and coding classes for K–5 students. We provide full training, all lesson plans, and materials—you bring the energy, curiosity, and care to create an unforgettable learning experience.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead 1-hour after-school classes for students in grades K–5, following our step-by-step curriculum.
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
  • Manage class materials and ensure a safe classroom experience.
  • Communicate with parents, schools, and our team as needed.
  • Represent our brand with professionalism and enthusiasm.


Schedule

  • Classes run approximately 1 hour, typically starting between 2:00 PM–4:00 PM on school days.
  • Teach 2–5 days per week depending on your availability.
  • Flexible part-time schedule—perfect for educators, students, or professionals seeking meaningful work.
  • Opportunities for more hours during school breaks and summer (optional).


Must-Have Qualifications

  • Experience working with or leading groups of children.
  • Available at least 3 weekday afternoons during the school year.
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to pass a background check.


Nice-to-Have (Not Required)

  • Experience with LEGO robotics, coding, or STEM instruction.
  • Classroom or group management experience.
  • Interest in pursuing a career in education or youth programs.

This position is for the 2025-26 school year.

Location: Positions open in Hillsboro, Beaverton, Newberg, Happy Valley, Tigard, Oregon City, all throughout the Portland Metro (Willingness to travel to multiple sites is a plus!)


Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $60.00 per hour
