What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Billing Assistant position at Journey Communications, Inc.?
The Project Billing Assistant position is a part time position working estimated 15 hours per week with the ability to increase hours as training progresses. Position may turn full-time for the right candidate within 6 mths to a year.
The primary function relates to tracking daily production of telecommunication installations on multiple projects, entering in locates to online 811 diggers systems, preparing several invoices weekly to customers, billing appropriate pay codes specific to each job, and processing weekly final invoice payouts to vendors/contractors for work performed. This position requires multi-tasking, keen eye to detail, must be able to be comfortable using cardinal directions (North, South, East, West) when mapping on design prints and telling directions to others, timely responses to email/texts, electronic filing, use of google drive, dropbox, excel/google sheets, etc.
