JOURNEY CHURCH OF KANNAPOLIS, INC.
Position Title: Director of Children’s Ministries
Employment Status: Part-time - 18 hours per week
Primary Purposes
The person in this position will understand and develop creative programs and implement a
vision for the Children’s Ministry Programs. The Director of Children’s Ministry must be an
acknowledged Christian and function under the personnel policies of Journey Church.
- The Children’s Ministry Director is responsible for planning, coordinating, and
overseeing all Sunday morning ministry activities for children in Nursery through Fifth
Grade.
- Coordinate with the Church & Family Life Committee on special events for children to
promote fun, fellowship, spiritual development, missions and ministry involvement.
- Coordinate with the Pastor and the Worship Leader to creatively engage the children in
the worship service and in Christian fellowship with the congregation.
Pay: $18,500.00 per year
