Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Covington, Ky. In this role, you are expected to transition into the primary Financial Advisor for an assigned group of clients as a Senior Financial Advisor phases toward retirement. This position is designed to ensure continuity of client service, preserve client relationships, and provide a clear professional development path toward a lead advisory role within the firm. You will be responsible for managing and growing a book of business, including developing new client relationships, demonstrating consistent success in prospect conversion, and managing existing client relationships independently or in partnership with a Senior Advisor.


Responsibilities: 

  • Successfully transition and manage assigned client relationships 
  • Grow the business and manage the relationships of new clients 
  • Build deep relationships with our clients to understand their personal and financial circumstances. Show deep understanding of clients’ goals and needs to proactively serve them. 
  • Focus on growing the business organically via existing and new client relationships.
  • Assist the Business Development team by participating in prospect calls and meetings as required. 
  • Analyze client’s current course, consider alternates, present recommendations, implement plans, and monitor progress. 
  • Provide disciplined portfolio construction, ongoing oversight and performance monitoring; while considering clients’ tolerance for risk, tax status, time horizon, and personal preferences. 
  • Presents sound financial recommendations and guidance to clients. 
  • Establishes individual financial plans based on client financial needs and objectives. Monitors financial plans and recommends changes as needed. 
  • Works collaboratively with CIO and others in the firm to deliver best solutions possible to the clients. 
  • Collaborate and support other advisors on some planning needs as appropriate. 
  • Constantly monitoring and learning latest tools, techniques, etc. in the investment management and financial planning world. 
  • Maintain precise and organized data in CRM, Trading, Billing & Performance Reporting, firm electronic file system and custodial partnerships (predominately Schwab). 
  • Proficiently utilize & integrate a variety of software, tools, resources and technology to create and assemble client and prospective client deliverables. 
  • Work within a team to solve company-wide operational improvement projects as they arise. 
  • Performing other work-related duties as assigned.


Qualifications:

  • Active registration as an Investment Adviser Representative (IAR)
  • 3 years of experience in wealth management, financial planning, or investment advisory services
  • CFP® or CFA® designation strongly preferred
  • Experience managing client relationships within an RIA environment
  • Familiarity with financial planning, CRM, and portfolio reporting systems
  • Strong understanding of fiduciary responsibilities and advisory regulations
  • Proficient in Financial Planning with the ability to create and execute personalized financial strategies
  • Strong knowledge and experience in Finance and Investments
  • Expertise in Retirement Planning and Financial Advisory
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to analyze complex financial data
  • Proficiency in financial planning software and tools
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, client-focused environment
