The Chef de Partie will provide support to the Sous Chef by ensuring proper execution of all hot and cold foods including appetizers, foods including meats, fish, poultry, starches and vegetables.
What you will do
As a Chef de Partie, you will support the Sous chef by ensuring the flawless execution of all hot and cold food items, including appetizers and entrees across meats, poultry, seafood, and more. You will be responsible for maintaining full awareness of menu items, recipes, production methods, and presentation standards while consistently producing high-quality dishes that meet the Executive Chef's expectations.
You will uphold all food safety, preservation, sanitation procedures, ensuring that every product is prepared, stored, and served at proper temperatures. Your role includes monitoring food quality, tasting and checking items for doneness, and maintaining a clean, safe, and organized cooking station that meets California Health and Safety codes.
Collaboration is key - you work closely with fellow kitchen staff, support team members, and help create a positive, efficient working environment. You will assist in special events, lineups, and pop-ups, while meeting hotel quality, service, and presentation standards.
You may also be assigned additional tasks as needed to support kitchen operations.

The ideal candidate is knowledgeable in food preparation, safety, sanitation, and demonstrates the ability to deliver consistent, high-quality dishes in a fast-paced, high -volume environment.
Education and Work Experience
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Significant amount (7 years) of cooking experience in specified area or other related operation required. Additional experience in high volume preferred
- Previous hospitality industry experience preferred
Certificates, Licenses and Registrations:
- California food handler card
