Job Title: Process Engineer
Location: Salisbury, NC
Hours/Schedule: M-F 8am- 5pm
Type: Contract
Overview
Leading consumer goods company looking for an entry level Process Engineer. Ideal candidates should have a BS degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent, students in their last year of undergrad or master's programs will be considered as well.
Responsibilities
• Support engineering team to verify and update SOP in DCS.
• Validate the accuracy of Bill of Materials in DCS Vs Bill of Materials SAP.
• Support engineering team with the creation of new SOP’s in DCS.
• Maintain master data.
• Contribute to training operators on the use of DCS and digital tools.
Requirements
• BS Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent, Student in their last year of undergrade or master’s degree student.
• Interested to work in Chemical Manufacturing Environment desired (Experience in PLC and/or DCS control system a plus)
• Strong interpersonal, and communication (oral and written) skills
• Eager to learn about different automation and digitalization systems,
• Sitting and working on a computer, working in the plant environment.
