Pilot Plant Operator

Job Title: Pilot Plant Technician
Location:  Ridgefield, CT
Hours/Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8 am to 5 pm
Type: Contract

This role supports pilot plant operations by assisting lead technicians in executing manufacturing campaigns and ensuring accurate batch documentation. The position requires hands-on equipment work, adherence to GMP procedures, and active participation in routine operational meetings. The technician will prioritize safety while helping resolve process and equipment challenges.

• Support the Lead Technician during pilot plant campaigns.

• Collaborate with plant technicians and campaign managers to resolve process and equipment issues.

• Communicate batch status to relevant technical teams.

• Complete all required training on schedule.

• Participate in recurring daily meetings.

• Operate equipment and perform batch record entries and calculations accurately.

• Attend PSOR meetings and contribute input.

• Follow all procedures and use required PPE.

• Report incidents such as spills, exposures, or injuries to management.

• Maintain safety as the primary operational priority.

• Experience working with GMP procedures and bulk manufacturing.

• Technical knowledge of manufacturing systems, methods, and procedures.

• Troubleshooting skills related to equipment and/or processes.

• High school diploma or associate degree.
