Responsibilities:
- This role is on a high impact team that is leading advance water filtration innovations, very rewarding experience knowing the potential impact to alleviate the water shortage issues being experience globally.
- Under the supervision of a Senior Engineering Manager, the Technician will be expected to perform the following functions with a high level of initiative and independence:
- Handling the printed membrane and testing/monitoring print quality.
- Tests performance characteristics of printed membrane samples
- Evaluate, collect and record data.
- Participates in organizing and performing experiments using established procedures while summarizing and reporting results in a laboratory notebook.
- Uses a computer to enter data/information including charts and tables for communication of project results/details.
Requirements: :- Associates or Bachelor's degree in a technical field
- 1-3 year of demonstrated laboratory experience
- Computer literate in Microsoft Office products - word, excel and powerpoint.
- Ability to understand and follow experimental protocols for preservation of data.
- Capable of using common tools (ie torque wrenches)
- Attention to detail and taking pride in their work
- Comfortable and able to work with chemicals while following safe laboratory practices/protocols.
- The ability to stand while working in the laboratory throughout most of the day.
