Overview
Leading pharmaceutical company looking for an experienced Bench Scientist III. Ideal candidates should have a BA/BS with 5 years or MS with 3 years of relevant experience in biochemistry, biophysics, or related discipline
Responsibilities
- Perform physicochemical, thermal, and colloidal stability assessments of biotherapeutic candidates using established assays
- Analyze and interpret experimental data to support the selection of lead biotherapeutic molecules
- Contribute to process improvement activities to increase efficiency and throughput within the group
- Document experimental procedures, results, and analyses accurately in electronic notebooks
Requirements
- BA/BS with 5 years or MS with 3 years of relevant experience in biochemistry, biophysics, or related discipline (no PhDs)
- Good understanding of protein biochemistry and stability
- Familiarity with protein characterization methods and analytical biochemistry techniques such as aSEC, DSC, CGE, cIEF, and DLS
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask efficiently
- Excellent communication, presentation, and documentation skills
- Prior experience in therapeutic protein discovery and biochemistry research (preferred)
- Knowledgeable with automation (preferred)
