Job Title: Associate Project Manager

Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional planning and execution activities for acquisition integration projects, partnering with Global Procurement and GPC leadership.
- Define scope, deliverables, timelines, and success metrics aligned with business and transition objectives.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including tasks, owners, dependencies, and milestones for integrating the acquired site into GPC Costa Rica.
- Monitor programs and workstreams from initiation through completion, ensuring progress remains on schedule and within budget.
- Develop and maintain detailed program schedules, critical paths, milestones, and long-term timelines.
- Build and manage Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), taxonomy documentation, and Gantt charts reflecting all tasks and dependencies.
- Analyze schedule risks and critical path impacts, identifying issues early and implementing mitigation actions.
- Develop and execute stakeholder engagement plans to ensure transparency, alignment, and timely communication across functions.
- Facilitate cross-functional meetings, steering updates, and status reviews.
- Act as a primary interface between Global Procurement, GPC Costa Rica, and other internal stakeholders affected by the acquisition transition.
- Provide leadership to team members supporting transition activities, including defining roles, responsibilities, and expectations.
- Guide team performance, workload planning, and prioritization during the transition timeline.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in project or program management, preferably within transformation, integration, or supply chain environments.
- Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives with strong planning, scheduling, and communication skills.
- Experience working with Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), Gantt charts, and critical path methodology.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across functions and levels.
- Ability to resolve complex issues with limited guidance in a dynamic, high-change environment.
