We are looking for an experienced Information Systems Technician who will be responsible for maintaining our information systems; and who is a proactive problem-solver who wants to expand their technical expertise and take on new challenges. This includes all aspects of planning, training, troubleshooting, implementation and maintenance regarding hardware and software in the Systems area.

As our next IS Technician, you will be the crucial link that empowers our employees, solving simple and complex problems and directly impacting our team's productivity and success. As part of your role, you will be responsible communication of standards, procedures, policies, related to Information Systems for our Plant and you will work closely with our IS Manager and Systems Team!

YOU HAVE:

• Education: 2 year College Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience: At least 3 years of experience in an IT or IS role, preferably in a manufacturing/industrial environment.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, Networking concepts, hardware troubleshooting, and understanding of basic systems programming concepts.
• Network Administration: Experience configuring switches, routers, firewalls, and managing wired/wireless network infrastructure.
• Knowledge of VoIP: Able to setup and troubleshoot VoIP hardware, voicemail systems and software.
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate across departments and document technical information clearly.
• Excellent Customer Service Skills: Provides responsive, courteous, and effective support to both technical and non-technical issues. Listens, communicates clearly and professionally. Maintains a positive and service-oriented attitude, even under pressure. Builds trust and fosters strong working relationships on the production floor and in the office.
• Problem Solving Abilities: Capable of troubleshooting and resolving technical issues independently while managing time efficiently. Quickly identifies root causes of technical issues and proposes effective solutions; applies logical thinking and a structured approach to problem-solving.
• Eagerness to Learn: Demonstrate openness to learning new systems, tools and processes in a constantly evolving environment.
• Strong Initiative: Proactively identifies and addresses problems before they escalate. Anticipates potential issues before they arise and takes appropriate action to prevent downtime.
• Adaptability: Thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing setting with shifting priorities and evolving technologies. Adjusts quickly to change while maintaining focus on quality and performance.
• Organized & Detail-Oriented: Strong planning and organizational skills, manages tasks efficiently with attention to accuracy and deadlines.
• Reliability: Proven record of commitment and dependability through a consistent and excellent attendance and punctuality record.
• Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 50lbs., and must be able to pass Forklift and Fall Protection training/certification with Jostens. Ability to safely perform tasks at elevated locations and work comfortably at heights when necessary.
• Preferred Skills: CompTIA A , Network , or other relevant certifications. Experience supporting IT in a manufacturing environment. Basic knowledge of Cybersecurity best practices. Familiarity with ERP Systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.). Exposure to PLCs, Industrial PCs, and other equipment.
