DESIGNER - ARCHITECTURE, INTERIOR, AND VISUAL/MARKETING SUPPORT
Position Summary
Joshua Zinder Architecture Design is seeking full-time support in our Princeton office. This role is key to the thoughtful execution of high-quality design and graphics including, but not limited to project and proposal support, brochures, presentations, product design, and social media website support. An interest in all areas of design is necessary, and this position has real growth potential.
The ideal candidate would also have an architecture or interior design background, to support staff using AutoCAD, Revit, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc. This position is a key member of the marketing and design team and will have an opportunity to make a significant impact on an evolving practice committed to design excellence and sustainability. This position works directly with the firm’s partners and professional staff, distills complex information, and creates compelling graphics and marketing proposals.
Detailed Job Description
- Design print and digital material for business development initiatives.
- Assist with presentation materials, including PowerPoint, Photoshop, and other graphic applications.
- Analyze request for proposal (RFP) requirements to ensure compliance, coordinating responses, developing layout, and managing production and final delivery/distribution.
- Develop content and submit materials for local and national industry awards.
- Develop designs for signage, furniture, and light fixtures, etc.
- Support Interior Design and Architecture teams.
- Produce web & social media content, including video, graphics, and copy.
- Maintain project information database and firm boilerplate, including project descriptions, resumes, and firm overviews.
- Coordinate and attend occasional project photography shoots.
- Develop and maintain the firm’s social media accounts.
- Work in a team atmosphere to support firm leaders and business development efforts.
Preferred qualifications:
- BA or BFA in Visual or Industrial Design or equivalent degree; BArch-MArch or equivalent degree. Recent graduates encouraged to apply.
- Creative and impactful industrial design/product and graphic design skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, such as Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite programs, especially InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat
- Excellent communication, writing, attention to detail, and organizational abilities, including experience writing for various media (Web, brochures, newsletters, social media, etc.)
- Strong interpersonal skills for interacting and communicating with individuals of all levels of the organization in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge and/or curiosity about architecture, engineering, and interior design. Able to manage multiple assignments and deadlines.
- Self-starter able to work independently.
- Working knowledge of CAD programs Like Rhino, Sketchup, ACAD, and Revit a plus.
