Landscape Foreman/ Laborers

Job Overview

We are seeking energetic and dedicated Landscape Foremen and Laborers to join our dynamic outdoor maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing a variety of landscaping, groundskeeping, and hardscape projects that enhance the beauty and functionality of outdoor spaces. Whether overseeing crew operations or working hands-on in the field, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality landscape solutions. Duties

• Lead and supervise landscape crews to ensure efficient completion of projects, including planting, pruning, mowing, and installation of hardscape features
• Operate grounds maintenance equipment such as mowers, excavators, power tools, irrigation systems, and snow plows with precision and safety compliance
• Perform landscape maintenance tasks including plant identification, pest management, lawn care, irrigation system installation and repair, and tree trimming
• Assist with landscaping projects involving hardscape construction like patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other outdoor structures
• Conduct safety protocol adherence during all operations to maintain a safe work environment for team members and clients
• Maintain grounds by performing gardening tasks such as planting new greenery, mulching beds, and managing seasonal cleanup efforts
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues with landscaping equipment and perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal performance

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge with experience operating various landscaping machinery and hand tools
• Proven outdoor work experience in grounds maintenance or landscaping environments
• Knowledge of horticulture principles including plant identification, pruning techniques, and pest management strategies
• Familiarity with irrigation systems installation, repair, and troubleshooting
• Ability to operate power tools safely and efficiently in outdoor settings
• Construction experience related to hardscape features such as patios or retaining walls is a plus
• Excellent understanding of safety protocols specific to outdoor work environments including equipment operation and pesticide management
• Effective communication skills for team coordination and client interactions
• Ability to identify different plant species and provide appropriate care or maintenance
