Reptile Supervisor

We’re currently seeking a seasoned, growth-oriented reptile enthusiast for the full-time Reptile Production and Husbandry Supervisor position in our Animal Department (Reptile Division). As a Reptile Division team member, you’ll lead the team by maintaining a high level of accountability and organization, acquire animals of interest and oversee their breeding, and develop and maintain a high standard of animal care.

If you’re self-driven, know the reptile industry like the back of your hand, and have experience breeding reptiles, you might just be the person we’re looking for!

• Full-time (40 hours per week), Monday through Friday (9 AM to 5:30 PM)
• $18 to $20/hour starting wages (negotiable/commensurate with experience)

Day-to-Day Duties/Scorecard Expectations Include:

• Reptile Division planning and development
• Data recording and entry
• Managing team members
• Assisting with animal-keeping
• Holding weekly team meetings
• HelpDesk, Customer Service, and Marketing assistance
• Inventory and auditing
• Task management/feedback for team members
• “Big picture” planning and research

For This Position, You MUST Possess:

• Management experience
• Exotic animal experience (reptiles preferred)
• Experience in the US reptile industry
• Growth-oriented mindset
• Ability to prioritize while following procedures/processes
• Willingness to give and receive feedback

Special Consideration is Given to Those with:

• Previous ownership of a successful small reptile business
• Reptile industry connections
• Exceptional history in the reptile industry
