We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual for the part-time Amphibian Husbandry Technician position in our Tree Frogs and Toad Department. As a member of this team, you’ll provide care for amphibians at all stages of life — from tadpoles to adults — including feeding and daily maintenance. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting with the care and raising of captive-bred amphibians, supporting tadpole and adult care routines, and collecting data to help the department continue to grow and improve.

Day-to-day tasks include:

Help provide care for raising and captive-bred (CBP) amphibians in the Tree Frog and Toad Department.

Assist with tadpole and adult care as needed.

Perform daily feeding, maintenance, and observation of raising and CBP tree frogs and toad froglets, ensuring proper care and growth to sellable size and age.

Collect and record data to establish trends and improve departmental metrics.
