Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine the layout of plumbing systems
- Use hand tools and power tools to cut, assemble, and install pipes and fittings
- Test plumbing systems for leaks and other issues
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure plumbing systems are installed correctly
- Provide excellent customer service and address any concerns or questions from clients
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a plumber or completion of an apprenticeship program
- Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to use hand tools and power tools effectively
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints for plumbing systems
- Basic math skills for measuring, calculating pipe lengths, and determining angles
- Ability to weld pipes together for secure connections (preferred but not required)
- Knowledge of construction plumbing techniques and ability to build plumbing systems from scratch
