Lateral Attorney Opportunity – Corporate & Business Transactions
Joseph, Greenwald & Laake, P.A., a well-established and growing law firm, is seeking a lateral attorney to join our team in our Corporate & Business Transactions practice.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A portable book of business
- Significant experience handling corporate, transactional, and business matters
- Strong client relationships and a demonstrated ability to generate and sustain work
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
Job duties include, but are not limited to:
- Advise clients on a wide range of corporate and business transactions.
- Draft, negotiate, and review transactional documents.
- Conduct legal due diligence, identify transactional risks, and provide practical recommendations to support deal structure and negotiation strategy.
- Counsel clients on corporate governance matters, entity formation, restructuring, and ongoing compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
- Coordinate and manage all phases of transactions from initial structuring through closing and post-closing integration.
- Provide ongoing business-oriented legal advice to corporate clients on commercial contracts, risk management, and operational matters related to their transactional activities.

Salary: $150,000 - $250,000
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday

- Maryland Bar (Required)
- DC/VA Bar (Plus)
