About The Job
The Trim Clerk supports the production team by managing, organizing, and tracking trims and garment components used in manufacturing. This entry-level role ensures that all trims (labels, buttons, zippers, linings, threads, etc.) are received, stored, and issued accurately to support on-time production.

About The Job
The Trim Clerk supports the production team by managing, organizing, and tracking trims and garment components used in manufacturing. What You’ll Do | Key Accountabilities
- Receive and verify trim shipments against purchase orders and packing lists
- Review open order report and follow up with vendors on purchase orders
- Inspect trims for accuracy, quality, and damage upon arrival
- Label, organize, and store trims in designated inventory areas
- Issue trims to production teams according to work orders
- Track trim usage and maintain accurate inventory records
- Assist with inventory counts and reconciliation
- Communicate shortages or discrepancies to the Production or Materials Manager
- Maintain a clean and organized trim storage area
- Support production team with additional clerical or administrative tasks as needed
- Assist with preparation and execution of year-end physical inventory
- Support reconciliation of inventory records following physical counts
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Excel or inventory systems preferred)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to lift and move boxes (up to 50 lbs.) as needed
- Ability to sit and work at a computer keyboard for extended periods of time
- Ability to stoop, kneel, bend at the waist, and reach daily
- Able to lift and move up to 25 pounds occasionally
- Must utilize visual acuity, speech and hearing, hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity necessary to operate a computer and office equipment
