Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and attentive Server to join our vibrant hospitality team. In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, delivering exceptional guest experiences through friendly service, expert knowledge of our menu and beverage offerings, and efficient handling of transactions. Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements, providing a welcoming atmosphere from the moment they walk in
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable, ensuring clarity and attention to detail
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality, including cocktail and spirits service
• Process sales transactions efficiently, handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods with accuracy
• Upsell menu items such as wines, specialty cocktails, or desserts to enhance guest experience and increase sales
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, cleaning service areas, and adhering to food safety protocols
• Provide exceptional guest relations through attentive service, addressing questions about menu items like wine knowledge or food handling practices

Skills

• Proven experience in food service roles within restaurants or fine dining establishments
• Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for order entry and sales processing preferred
• Strong knowledge of beverage service including spirits, wine pairing, cocktail preparation, and drink presentation
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
• Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items confidently to maximize sales opportunities
• Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly attitude and positive communication style
• Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques
• Experience in hospitality environments that require quick thinking and adaptability
• Ability to work collaboratively with kitchen staff and fellow servers to ensure seamless service delivery
