What are the responsibilities and job description for the Business Director, Jordan Sport position at JORDAN?
WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
In this role, you will partner closely across Jordan teams from Business Integration (Global to Geo) from Marketing, Brand, Product Creation, Planning, Finance and Strategy. You will work in close partnership with the Global Nike Central CODE team to align on process while ensuring we’re delivering on the specific needs of our Jordan consumer.

We are seeking a strategic thinker with a proven leadership profile and track record of leading transformation change. You are successful at flying at altitudes from 50,000 feet “conceptual” to ground level “finish the play”. Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, merchandising, product of related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience or training
A minimum of 10 years of directly relevant experience
Practiced expert of Nike Go to Market process with an understanding of product/retail value chain from innovation to consumer
Experienced leader and manager of people, process and projects
Self-starter, flexible thinker and outstanding communicator, as well as comfortable working cross-functionally and influencing different personalities and perspectives at all levels.
Instinctively know the right conversations to hold to deliver the right outcomes, and build work plans to ensure it.
Thrives on driving clarity at the heart of Nike and Jordan’s organizational matrices
Exceptional facilitation skills, including ability to gather relevant data, actively listen, and negotiate forward progress with an ability to influence cross functionally
Attention and love of the details with ability to pull up high to define the bigger picture.

Partner to operationalize our Sport-Led Offense end to end to drive efficiency, speed and precision in how we dream, build and deliver seasons.
Coach and mentor direct report and dotted-line Jordan teammates

Uphold shared standards of excellence
Serve as the primary Jordan partner to Nike Marketing, Athlete Services and work back through appropriate Jordan people and functions as the authority to deliver end to end key strategic priorities
Lead Sport Business Integration kick-off strategy and post analysis in partnership with relevant sport or functional business leader
Take ownership in the clear and creative ways we enroll the entire brand in celebrating it as a path to our greatness
Partner with Planning and Business Integration to harmonize Rhythm of the Game IBAs to ensure connectivity to build, manage and deliver seasons with precision
Partner with Sr Director Business Integration on projects and initiatives to operationalize Jordan standards to build a Culture of Greatness, operationalize the Sport Offense to drive consumer love and marketplace growth and expand Brand capabilities to add durability and flexibility to keep pace with speed of change.
