Key Responsibilities:

• Counseling and guiding patients and their parents or guardians regarding diet, essential activities for treating complications, hygienics, and disease preclusion.
• Collecting, recording, and maintaining details of the patient's information like clinical history, reports, and test outcomes.
• Analyzing patients on a regular basis to evaluate their physical and mental growth and development.
• Pediatricians also must perform and interpret diagnostic examinations to get essential data of the patient's medical condition.
• Explicating processes and procedures and discussing exam outcomes or suggested treatments with patients and their caretakers.
• Supervising the condition of patients and altering and reassessing treatments as necessary.
• Planning and executing medical care programs to help in the mental and emotional development of infants and teenagers.
• Dictating or administering treatments, therapies medications, vaccinations, and other particularized medical care to treat or preclude illnesses, disorders, or injuries in infants and teens.
• Directing the patient to a medical specialist or other practitioner as and when required.
• Treating adolescents who are suffering from minor maladies, acute and chronic health complications, physiological and psychological growth and development issues.
• Carrying out thorough research in order to examine anatomy and develop or test medications, treatments, or procedures to preclude or control the infection and disease.
• Directing and coordinating activities of nurses, medical trainees, medical assistants, specialists, therapists, and other clinical staff members.
• Designing, implementing, and administering health programs and routines for hospitals, societies, and general communities.
• Promotes effective working relations and work effectively as part of a team to facilitate the Clinic’s ability to meet its goals and objectives.
• Attains all agreed to goals and objectives within specified time frames, as part of the Clinic’s overall mission.
• Responsibly follows the Clinic Exposure Control Plans/Bloodborne and Airborne Pathogens.
• Promotes the education and development of students, interns, residents, apprentices, and other new staff by sharing expertise, responding to questions, and fostering a positive and supportive learning environment.
• Demonstrates respect and regard for the dignity of all patients, families, visitors and fellow employees to ensure a professional, responsible and courteous environment.

Health Requirements:

Requirements

Minimum Education: Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine or Doctor of Medicine.

Minimum Work Experience: Three to eight years of internship and residency.

Required Licenses/Certifications: A degree from an accredited school of medicine or osteopathy required; Pass of written National Board examination; Missouri License required; Current BLS Certification required.
