Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Accounting Manager, based in Wichita, KS. The Accounting Manager will oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including managing financial records, budgets, and reports. Responsibilities include preparing financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, maintaining payroll, and supervising an accounting team. Qualifications
- Expertise in general accounting principles, financial reporting, and budgeting
- Proficiency with accounting software and tools such as QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, and ERP systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for financial data analysis and forecasting
- Ability to manage and lead a team, including delegating tasks and developing team members
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Familiarity with tax laws, regulatory compliance, and audit procedures
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA certification is preferred
- Prior experience in an accounting management role is highly desirable
