What are the responsibilities and job description for the Instructional Assistant Self-Contained I PT (2026-2027) - Highly Qualified (Title I School) position at Jordan School District?
Applicant must be highly qualified. This would include one of the following:
Must complete Basic Training (5 hours) provided by JSD Special Education Department. Training must be completed within one week of hire as a condition of employment.
Additional 40 hours of training is available through the Special Education department allowing the employee to increase to lane 5 upon completion.
Training must be completed within six (6) months from hire date as a condition of employment.

Lane 4 Step 1 ($20.92/Hour)
Salary Schedules
- Associate's degree or higher from an accredited college/university; or
- 48 semester hours from an accredited college/university; or
- Pass the ParaPro Assessment
