Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care to residents, including assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, eating, and hygiene
- Support the nursing team by monitoring and reporting changes in resident conditions
- Take and record vital signs, weights, and input/output as directed
- Ensure residents’ comfort, safety, and dignity at all times
- Maintain cleanliness of resident rooms and common areas
- Communicate effectively and compassionately with residents, families, and team members
- Participate in care planning and implementation under the direction of licensed nursing staff
Qualifications:
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant ( CNA ) certification in the state of Kentucky
- Previous long-term care or skilled nursing facility experience preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and dependable with a strong work ethic
