What are the responsibilities and job description for the Youth Sports Camp Coach/Counselor position at Jordan Kent's JUST KIDS SKILL CAMPS?
Just Kids Skill Camps is seeking enthusiastic and energetic Camp Coaches/Counselors to lead children ages 5–12 through a variety of fun, skill-based sports activities. Coaches will guide campers through our dynamic curriculum, which includes soccer, basketball, football, agility training, and more. This is a high-energy role that requires a passion for working with kids, strong communication skills, and a basic understanding of multiple sports.
This role supports camps in the Greater Seattle and North Puget Sound area, including Issaquah, Shoreline, Marysville, and Lake Stevens. Candidates should be comfortable driving between camp locations in the Seattle metro region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coach and supervise groups of campers in structured sports activities
- Follow and implement our multi-sport curriculum
- Foster a fun, safe, and inclusive environment
- Demonstrate and teach fundamental athletic skills and teamwork
- Assist with camp setup, transitions, and end-of-day wrap-up
- Communicate positively with campers, parents, and fellow staff
Qualifications:
- Experience working with children (ages 5–12) preferred
- Background in sports (playing or coaching) strongly preferred
- High energy, team-oriented, and dependable
- Must pass a background check
- CPR/First Aid certification a plus
Schedule:
Summer camps (June - August) Camps run Monday - Thursday from 9am to 3pm
