Jordan Ford is currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our service department. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in diagnostics, repairs, and vehicle maintenance, and takes pride in delivering accurate, efficient service. Whether it’s performing routine maintenance or solving complex mechanical issues, you’ll play a key role in keeping our customers safe and satisfied.

Responsibilities

• Receive repair orders and complete work efficiently, accurately, and thoroughly
• Diagnose customer concerns and recommend/perform appropriate repairs
• Perform inspections and repairs on various vehicle systems including:
• Engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, HVAC, and alignment
• Conduct test drives and utilize diagnostic tools and special equipment
• Work with the parts department and service advisors to communicate vehicle status and additional service needs
• Estimate time requirements for repairs and assist in scheduling
• Execute repairs under manufacturer warranty specifications
• Complete multi-point inspections to identify safety issues or upcoming repairs
• Perform general maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and tune-ups
• Use power tools safely and in compliance with dealership/manufacturer standards
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Work both independently and as part of a team to meet productivity goals
  
  
  

Qualifications

• Previous automotive technician experience required
• Ford experience required
• ASE certifications preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical labor in a shop environment
• Strong diagnostic skills and a commitment to quality workmanship
