Finance Assistant/Cancellation Clerk
About this position
Jordan Ford, Ltd. is seeking an individual who is looking for a career in an exciting, fast-paced business. The Finance Assistant is responsible for providing the final check on the documentation before its sent to billing and assisting the sales managers, directors, and GSM.
Job Description:
- Review all deals for accuracy and completeness, ensuring all required documents are present and scanned into the document management system.
- Ensuring the correct flow of deals from the Finance department to the accounting office
- If in the event a deal is missing documents, contact the sales and sales/finance manager to obtain and complete the required paperwork.
- Assist Finance, Sales and Accounting in obtaining necessary documents and information
- Ensure all required documents are uploaded or printed to the finance platform when necessary.
- Overnight finance documents to lenders as required
- Assist as a backup for all cancellations and warranty contracts
- As a backup, process refund checks for cancellations and warranty contracts
- Adhere to the dealership defined F&I sales process
- Assist Controller and Office Manager as needed on department projects.
Education and Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED - Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to new challenges
- Intermediate skill level in Excel
- Strong attention to detail
- Organization, data entry skills, verbal communication, team player
