Job Summary
Jordan Disposal is seeking an experienced, high-energy Heavy Equipment Operator / Supervisor to join our landfill operations team. This is a "working lead" position—you won't be behind a desk. You will be responsible for the daily oversight of the landfill face, ensuring safety compliance, and operating heavy machinery to maintain efficient disposal operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Equipment Operation: Expertly operate excavators, dozers, compactors, and loaders to move, spread, and cover waste.
- Site Supervision: Lead and schedule daily tasks for the landfill crew; ensure the team is working efficiently and safely.
- Compliance: Maintain the landfill according to state and local regulations (KDHE standards).
- Safety Leadership: Conduct safety briefings and ensure all staff and customers follow site safety protocols.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of heavy equipment operation (excavator and dozer experience required).
- Leadership: Previous experience in a foreman, leadman, or supervisory role is highly preferred.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with landfill operations, grade stakes, and GPS leveling systems is a plus.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Reliability: A valid driver's license and a consistent track record of punctuality.
