About Jordan CRC / Phoenix Counseling Solutions

Jordan CRC and Phoenix Counseling Solutions provide behavioral health, substance use treatment, recovery housing, employment services (IPS Supported Employment), case management, and other supportive services for women seeking recovery and long-term stability. We use a trauma-informed, person-centered approach and work closely with community partners to help individuals overcome barriers to treatment, employment, housing, and recovery.

Jordan CRC is accredited by the Joint Commission and certified by the Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services (OhioMHAS) and the Ohio Recovery Housing (ORH) network. We are committed to providing high-quality, evidence-based services that empower women to build healthy, independent, and successful lives.

Position Summary

The Community Engagement Coordinator (CEC) works closely with the Program Director to build relationships with community partners and connect individuals to the services they need. This non-clinical position represents Jordan CRC and Phoenix Counseling Solutions at community events, health fairs, recovery meetings, and partner organizations. The CEC promotes agency programs, shares information about available services, and helps individuals access treatment, recovery housing, employment, case management, and other community resources.

The Community Engagement Coordinator serves as a key contact for referral sources, healthcare providers, social service agencies, courts, employers, schools, and other community organizations. This position helps coordinate referrals, connects people with appropriate services, and supports the Program Director's outreach efforts to expand community partnerships and improve access to care.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Represent Jordan CRC and Phoenix Counseling Solutions at community events, health fairs, recovery meetings, networking events, and partner organizations.
  • Serve as a professional ambassador for the agency by promoting programs, services, and community resources.
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with referral sources, healthcare providers, employers, courts, social service agencies, and community organizations.
  • Serve as a point of contact for community partners seeking information about agency programs and referral processes.
  • Facilitate referrals to agency programs and coordinate connections to appropriate internal and external resources.
  • Assist prospective participants with navigating available treatment, recovery housing, employment, case management, and supportive services.
  • Conduct follow-up with referral sources and prospective participants to ensure timely access to services.
  • Distribute agency brochures, educational materials, and resource information to community partners and the public.
  • Support the Program Director by assisting with outreach initiatives, partnership activities, and community engagement efforts.
  • Maintain accurate records of outreach activities, referrals, community contacts, and engagement outcomes.
  • dentify community needs and communicate opportunities, trends, and barriers to the Program Director.
  • Participate in agency meetings, trainings, and outreach activities as assigned.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Program Director.

Job Requirements

  • Excellent interpersonal, networking, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong written, verbal, and public communication skills.
  • Ability to represent the agency professionally in a variety of community settings.
  • Ability to establish and maintain collaborative relationships with community partners and referral sources.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with agency leadership and staff.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with all agency, regulatory, and accreditation requirements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other web-based software.
  • Knowledge of behavioral health, recovery support services, community resources, or human services preferred.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Social Work, Public Health, Communications, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in community outreach, nonprofit services, behavioral health, workforce development, or a related human services field preferred.
  • Valid Ohio driver's license.
  • Reliable transportation and proof of auto insurance.
  • Ability to travel throughout service area to attend meetings and events.
  • Successful completion of required background screening, drug screen, and TB testing in accordance to agency policy.
  • Three (3) employment references
