Joplin Schools is seeking an individual possessing a unique combination of attributes, including high-level technology skills and strong interpersonal abilities.

Essential Functions:

• Familiarity with Apple OS and Windows OS environments.
• Diagnose and repair Hardware/Software problems.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Proficient in Gmail, Google Drive, and Google app suites.
• Proficient in audio/visual presentation systems.
• Provide training and support for instructional and administrative technology use.
• Assist in Network Connectivity Problems.
• Provide Multimedia set up for special events.
• Facilitate repairs with 3rd party vendors and monitor warranty on parts (I.e., Dell, Lenovo, etc).
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate with customers with different proficiency levels in technology.
• Ability to work cooperatively with other team members, department members, and district staff
• Carry out all other duties as assigned.

Physical Demands

The individual who holds this position is regularly required to walk, hear and speak and must have close moderate and distance vision ability. The individual must be able to travel between district facilities. The position requires a moderate amount of travel, both in and out of the district.
