What are the responsibilities and job description for the MUST KOREAN SPEAKER - Acupuncturist position at Joon Acupuncture P.C?
Our clinic is looking for an Acupuncturist who is interested in practicing holistic medicine for patients of all ages. The ideal candidate has a passion for holistic health, detailed knowledge of acupuncture, and regular communication with the medical staff. We are interested in hiring a dedicated Acupuncturist who can work within our challenging schedule and help our patients achieve the best possible results. Must be Korean speaker and avialble to work on Saturday.
Responsibilities:
- Complete a master's degree program in acupuncture and oriental medicine.
- Perform acupuncture or moxibustion to provide pain relief, treat injuries and other conditions, or prevent illness or pregnancy in adults or children.
- Administer traditional herbal medications, such as tinctures, teas, pills, or powders, to patients.
- Analyze a patient's symptoms using palpation and auscultation with the ear.
- Modify treatment based on biophysical information obtained through pulse palpation and tongue diagnostics.
- Conduct detailed exams to diagnose disease processes.
- Be able to recognize side effects of medications and be knowledgeable about prescription drugs.
- Understand traditional oriental theories of disease prevention and treatment.
