Senior Commercial Loan Officer/Underwriter

*Title will be Officer/Vice President*

$70,000-$90,000/year with 100% benefits paid for by the bank

Responsible for assisting the Loan Center Manager with day-to-day loan center operations in order to meet the financial services need of customers, implementing marketing strategies and work with loan center staff to achieve the assigned loan center’s goal; ensuring the loan center’s compliance with operating policies and procedures and outside regulatory requirements; communicating with appropriate management and staff personnel; providing periodic reports.

[Requirements]:

• 5 Years of Commercial lending experience or similar
• Strong understanding of financial statements, credit modeling, and lending statements
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and loan underwriting tools
• Experience with Marketing
• Bilingual (English and Korean) preferred

[Key Duties]:

• Review all credit memorandums for new, renewal, extension and modification of existing credits in commercial loan portfolio.
• Minimize the number and balance of default through ongoing review of the existing portfolio as well as communication with the borrowers.
• Review all credit memorandums and inquiries for new applicants for the Loan Center to make preliminary decisions.
• Monitor the existing portfolio on an ongoing basis in order to assure all covenants are in compliance and risk ratings are appropriate, while minimizing the number and balance of defaults through constant review of the existing portfolio as well as communicating with the borrowers/guarantors.
• Provide support to lending staff for any lending-related matters including but not limited to underwriting, customer service, decision making, loan structuring, loan monitoring and so on.
• Work with loan staff to develop effective marketing strategies for localization of bank products

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
