Duties
- Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, providing detailed descriptions of dishes and specials.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff.
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation.
- Upsell menu items and beverage options to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales.
- Manage guest inquiries, resolve issues efficiently, and foster positive guest relations throughout their dining experience.
- Assist with food handling, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas to ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met.
- Support host/hostess duties when needed by managing reservations via OpenTable or similar systems, coordinating seating arrangements seamlessly.
Qualifications
- Prior restaurant or food service experience, especially in fine dining or nightclub environments.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle diverse needs.
- Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy shifts.
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining a friendly demeanor.
