What are the responsibilities and job description for the Billboard Installer position at Jones Sign?

Position Summary:
As a Billboard Installer, you'll have the opportunity to travel throughout the state on day trips to remove and/or install billboards. You'll literally be on top of the world, so comfort with heights and a strong sense of safety are a must.
This position is based out of our 1711 Scheuring Rd., De Pere location.
Duties and Expectations:
- Installing and maintaining all Billboards
- Maintain tower repairs which could include tightening bolts, painting steel structures, repairing trim, and various parts of the billboard sign face and structure
- Change light bulbs as needed
- Assemble structures and faces when required
- Complete all installations in a professional manner to Jones Sign safety and quality expectations
- Use power/manual tools, must adhere to all safety regulations
- Maintain operation vehicles, construction tools, equipment, and machinery
- Consistently demonstrate sound safety practices, as well as the ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Effectively manage time to ensure on-time delivery of every project within the allotted hours
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- A valid driver’s license is required
- Ability to complete OSHA 30-hour Construction course required
- Preferred certifications: CDL, Crane, Signal, and Rigging
- Previous experience working at heights up to 100 ft. above ground preferred
