What are the responsibilities and job description for the Administrative and Reporting Intern - Hillsboro position at Jones & Roth?
Our Internship Program provides you with exposure to “real world” public accounting. Your internship will give you a chance to learn about the profession and the opportunity to work on real client projects. We provide an environment that is open and interactive, utilizing a hands-on approach to learning. Your Intern Coach will help you get up to speed quickly and provide support for your questions.
Requiring a minimum of 20 hours per week, your internship will work around your school schedule with at least 4 hour work blocks.
Most of our full-time hires come from our internship program. This is an excellent way to get to know Jones & Roth.
Winter Internships (Late January - April 15th) Winter interns work 20 hours a week with a schedule that fits around their school schedule. Interns may work more than 20 hours a week if they like.
- Administrative and Reporting - Interns help keep workflows running, assisting with client requests, reception and more. Tasks include:
- Reception duties: Greeting clients and answering phones
- Scanning
- Tax processing and assembly
- Source data entry
- Other tasks as needed
This is a great internship for a student just starting their accounting classes. You'll have the opportunity to experience a busy season while also continuing your education.
