Assistant to the Founder's Office

The Role

We're looking for a scrappy, detail-obsessed, endlessly curious assistant to support a fast-moving beauty entrepreneur and her Executive Assistant. This is a true "wear every hat" role — one hour you're editing a quick TikTok, the next you're deep in an insurance form or reorganizing a calendar that just flipped upside down. No two days look the same, and that's the point.

This role sits close to the founder and her assistant, so you'll see how a growing company and personal brand actually run behind the scenes — the glamorous parts and the unglamorous ones, in equal measure. This is a great role for someone looking for experience in all aspects of running a successful, scaling business.

What You'll Do

• Support day-to-day scheduling for a founder whose calendar changes constantly — reprioritizing, rebooking, and catching conflicts before they become problems
• Handle administrative and paperwork tasks (insurance, forms, filing, errands) with the same care you'd give a creative project
• Shoot and edit simple, fast-turnaround content for TikTok and Instagram (Reels, Stories, quick cuts)
• Jump into whatever's on the table that day — research, errands, event support, personal projects — with a genuine "no job is too small" attitude
• Assist with ad hoc creative and brand projects as they come up
• Ask questions early and often; we'd rather you ask than guess

Who You Are

• Local to Montclair, NJ or nearby** — this is an in-person role
• Comfortable moving between highly detailed admin work and open-ended creative work in the same afternoon
• Know your way around basic TikTok/Instagram editing (CapCut, native editors, or similar) — nothing fancy required, just clean and quick
• Extremely organized and reliable with follow-through, especially around scheduling
• Eager to learn, low-ego, and genuinely willing to do any task, big or small
• Comfortable asking questions rather than guessing
• Excited by a fast-paced, ever-changing environment — this isn't a role with a fixed script

This role is an on-site position with 4-5 days working in our Montclair, NJ office. The salary range for this position is: $58,000-62,000 and the role is bonus eligible.
