Duties
- Pack finished products carefully using appropriate packaging equipment, ensuring items meet quality specifications.
- Operate packaging machinery and hand tools safely and effectively, troubleshooting minor mechanical issues as needed.
- Follow manufacturing standard operating procedures (SOPs) and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) to maintain compliance.
- Handle materials and products safely, including heavy lifting and proper use of material handling equipment such as forklifts.
- Interpret production documents to verify correct quantities, labels, and packaging requirements.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the packing area, adhering to safety standards in production environments.
- Assist with warehouse operations by managing inventory, restocking supplies, and ensuring accurate documentation.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in manufacturing or warehouse operations is preferred but not required.
- Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying product quantities.
- Mechanical knowledge or troubleshooting skills related to industrial equipment are a plus.
- Familiarity with packaging equipment, hand tools, and material handling equipment operation.
- Knowledge of GMP, FDA regulations, CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices), and safety standards in production environments.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and consistently follow safety protocols during all tasks.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to interpret production documents accurately.
