Packer/Stacker

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient packer/stacker to join our production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for packing/stacking products in a safe and organized manner, ensuring that all items are prepared for shipment or storage. This role is crucial in maintaining the flow of production and requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and a commitment to quality.

Duties

• Stack finished products onto pallets or designated areas according to company specifications.
• Ensure that all stacked items are stable and secure to prevent damage during transport.
• Monitor the quality of products as they are stacked, reporting any defects or issues to supervisors.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
• Assist with inventory management by keeping track of stacked items and reporting discrepancies.
• Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure efficient workflow.
• Pack good quality bags into boxes, place label on box, set fully packed box on rollers.

Experience

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) repeatedly throughout the shift.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration.
• Basic understanding of safety practices in an industrial setting is advantageous.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
